JUNIOR BETA SERVICE HOURS ARE DUE TO MS. ROBERSON

MAY 3RD-MAY 7TH

Please be sure to have your NAME, HOMEROOM, and NUMBER of service hours on the form.

Also, if you have earned 50, 75, or 100 service hours for the school year, please see the Beta Bulletin Board. You must put your name down so we can verify your hours. Once verified, you will receive a special award at Honor's Night.

Important Announcements:   

bulletNew member applications will be delivered to homerooms at the end of August. If you feel that you should have received an application, but did not receive one, please see Ms. Roberson in F113. 
bulletNew Member Application - Every member must complete one of these.  The cost is $25 for new members and $15 for returning members. PLEASE MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO RTMS!

· All members will be required to earn 10 service hours  each semester.  Service hours can be earned at the elementary schools’ fall festivals and Bingo nights, Newtown Festival, RTMS Dig-in Days, and at other locations within the community.  Service opportunities will be posted on the Jr. Beta Board.  You will need to have your service hours log signed by the adult in charge at your event/place of service.  Take your service hour log with you.  We do not want separate service log pages for each activity.

· You will turn in your service hour log (with signatures) at the end of each semester.  Your fall semester service hour log can be turned in between December 7th-11th.  Spring service hours are to be turned in from May 3rd-7th. Place your service hour log in the correct folder in the filing rack located outside Mrs. Roberson’s room, F-113.

· Betas who are interested in earning the Presidential Service Award will need the following hours by May 7th: 

              Bronze (50), Silver (75), and Gold (100).

· The Jr. Beta Convention, socials, and the Induction Ceremony do not count toward service hours.
